Glove Tips

Picking the Right Glove Fabric Type
Generally it is best to match the fabric of your gloves to the fabric of your outfit, even if the color is different.

Choosing Glove Length
The length of your gloves should be inversely proportional to the length of your sleeves. That is, the shorter the sleeve the longer the glove. If you have a sleeveless dress, then opera gloves and elbow length gloves are going to look great! Gloves shorter than fifteen inches in length will look good with almost any sleeve length.

Longer gloves are also considered more formal.

Eating, Drinking
When you don your pair of gloves, it is likely going to be at a social occasion. Gloves may be worn at all times, but it is generally best to remove gloves while eating, drinking , or smoking. You wouldn't want marinara sauce on your beautiful pair of diamond white gloves, would you?

Gloves at Weddings
Gloves look really great with a wedding dress , but what happens when the ring comes? The easiest way to deal with this issue is to buy a pair of fingerless gloves or gauntlets that match your dress! Alternatively, you can remove your pair of gloves just before the formalities begin and leave it off for the rest of the ceremony.
